Armored Power Systems

Financing

Pay for the project over time

Financing is available through multiple independent lenders, subject to credit approval. Armored Power Systems is the contractor, not the lender — we design and install the system, and the rate, term and decision belong to the provider you apply with.

What can be financed

The whole project, not just the box

Backup power projects rarely stop at the equipment. The pad, the transfer switch, the panel work and the permit are all part of the number, and they can be part of the financed amount too.

That matters more than it sounds. When a project is financed one piece at a time, people tend to cut the parts that are least visible — the load management that would have let a smaller generator carry the house, or the panel work that makes the whole thing safe. Those are exactly the pieces that determine whether the system does its job in year six.

Start with a real scope from our process, then decide how to pay for it.

The lenders

Several providers, one contractor

Every customer and project is different, so we work with more than one financing provider instead of routing everyone into a single program. You apply directly with the provider.

  • First Financial

  • Foundation Finance

Credit improvement resources

A declined application does not have to end the project. We can connect you with third-party credit repair and credit improvement resources so you can review what is affecting your credit profile, identify information that may be inaccurate, and plan before applying again. Results vary, and credit repair cannot guarantee the removal of accurate information, a particular credit-score increase, or future financing approval.

Ask about this on the phone — (817) 381-6158.

How it works

From estimate to installed system

Financing should follow a properly designed project, not replace one. Here is the order that keeps it that way.

  1. 01

    Get the estimate first

You cannot sensibly apply for an amount you do not know yet. We assess the property and put a written, itemized proposal in your hands before anyone talks about payments.

  2. 02

    Choose a program and apply

You apply directly with the lender, not through us. Some programs start with a soft credit inquiry, others require a hard inquiry — the lender discloses which before you submit.

  3. 03

    Review the offer carefully

If you are approved, read the payment amount, rate, fees, term and prepayment conditions before you accept anything. Those terms come from the lender and are not set by us.

  4. 04

    Approve the project

Once the scope and the financing are both settled, we order equipment, start the permitting and get the installation on the schedule.

  5. 05

    Installation and commissioning

We install, test and commission the system, including a live simulated outage test on generator projects, then hand over the walkthrough and the paperwork.

Financing disclosure

Armored Power Systems LLC is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. Financing is provided by independent third-party financing providers and is subject to credit approval. Rates, terms, fees, loan amounts, promotional programs, and availability vary by applicant, lender, and project and may change without notice. Review all lender disclosures before accepting financing. Credit repair or credit improvement services do not guarantee the removal of accurate information, a particular credit-score increase, or future financing approval.

Financing questions

What people ask before they apply

What kinds of projects can be financed?

Financing may be available for qualifying generator, solar, battery backup and electrical projects, including the equipment, the transfer switch, the electrical work and the installation as one project rather than several.

Will checking my options affect my credit?

It depends on the provider. Some start with a soft credit inquiry that does not affect your score, and others require a hard inquiry. Each lender discloses which applies before you submit an application, so read that disclosure first.

Is approval guaranteed?

No. Every application is subject to the lender’s approval, the program availability at the time you apply, and your own qualifications. Armored Power Systems does not make credit decisions and cannot approve or deny an application.

What if my credit is not where I want it?

Applying with more than one provider is sometimes enough, since programs differ. If it is not, we can point you toward third-party credit improvement resources so you can look at what is affecting your profile and plan a project for later. Those services cannot guarantee the removal of accurate information, a particular score increase, or a future approval.

Can a business finance a project?

Commercial options may be available depending on the business, the property, the project size and the provider. Businesses, churches, ranches, offices and commercial property owners have all asked, and the answer depends on the specifics rather than the category.

Can I pay it off early?

That is set by the financing agreement, not by us. Prepayment terms vary between providers and programs, so check them in the lender’s disclosures before you accept an offer.

Should I get an estimate before I apply?

Usually, yes. The estimate tells you the amount you actually need to finance, which keeps you from applying for a number that turns out to be wrong in either direction.

Does Armored Power Systems lend the money?

No. We are the contractor, not the lender. Financing is provided by independent third-party providers, and the rate, term, fees and approval decision are entirely theirs.

Two ways to start

Which one are you?

Need a generator

We start with what has to keep running at your property — the well, the AC, the freezer, the shop — and size the system around it. You get a written proposal with the equipment, the electrical work and the site prep all in one number.
