Privacy Policy

What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to get it removed. Written to be read rather than skimmed past.

Last updated: August 15, 2026

This policy explains how Armored Power Systems LLC (“Armored Power Systems”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through https://www.armoredpowersystems.com, our contact forms, our phone line and the work we do for customers. If anything here is unclear, call (817) 381-6158 and ask.

Who we are

Armored Power Systems LLC
14145 US-281, Santo, TX 76472
Phone: (817) 381-6158
Email: info@armoredpowersystems.com

Information you give us

Most of what we hold, you typed or told us. That includes what you submit through the estimate request and service request forms:

  • Your name, phone number and email address.
  • The city or ZIP code of the property, and later its full service address if we do work there.
  • Details about the property and the equipment: available fuel, whether a generator is already installed, brand, model or serial number, fault codes, and anything you describe in the message field.
  • Anything you send us by phone, text or email, including photographs of equipment or panels.

If you become a customer, we also hold the records that come with a job: proposals, invoices, permit paperwork, equipment registration details and service history. Card and bank details are handled by our payment and field-service providers rather than stored on this website.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you viewed, and the site or search that referred you. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. Analytics data of this kind is aggregated and is not used to build a marketing profile of you.

Two parts of this site are supplied by third parties and can set their own cookies or record your IP address when the content loads: the customer review panel on our reviews page, served by Housecall Pro, and the map embedded on our contact page, served by Google. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.

How we use it

  • To answer your question, prepare an estimate and schedule a visit.
  • To design, permit, install, service and warranty the equipment on your property.
  • To order parts and equipment, and to register equipment with its manufacturer.
  • To invoice you, take payment and keep the records a business is required to keep.
  • To send service reminders and maintenance scheduling for plan members and past customers.
  • To meet legal, tax, permitting and insurance obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Calls, texts and email

When you give us your phone number through a form, on the phone or in a message, you are agreeing that we may contact you about your request — returning your call, asking questions about the property, confirming a visit, sending an estimate, or letting you know a technician is on the way. That contact may come by phone call, text message or email.

Message and data rates may apply to text messages. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or ask the person you are speaking with. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of buying anything from us. We do not share mobile numbers or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Who else sees your information

We share personal information only where there is a reason to:

  • Housecall Pro, the field-service platform we use for scheduling, dispatch, invoicing and review requests. Customer and job records live there.
  • Financing providers, but only if you choose to apply. Applications happen on the lender’s own website under the lender’s own privacy policy — see our financing page. We are not the lender and we do not receive your full application.
  • Equipment manufacturers and suppliers, where needed to register a warranty, order a part or process a warranty claim.
  • Permitting authorities and utilities, where a project requires a permit, an inspection or a service coordination request.
  • Technology providers that host this website, deliver our email and provide basic analytics, acting on our instructions.
  • Professional advisors and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information or need advice on a claim or dispute.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not become projects are kept for a limited period so we can pick up the conversation if you come back, and are then deleted. Customer records — proposals, invoices, permits, equipment details and service history — are kept for as long as we support the equipment and for as long as tax, warranty and legal obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we limit access to the people who need it to do the work. No website or system is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as government identification numbers or bank details through our website forms.

Your rights under Texas law

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act gives you the right to ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we are processing your personal data, and give you access to it.
  • Correct inaccuracies in the personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete personal data you provided to us or that we obtained about you.
  • Provide a portable copy of the data you gave us, where it is technically feasible to do so.
  • Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not do any of these, but the right exists regardless.

To make a request, email info@armoredpowersystems.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, call (817) 381-6158, or write to us at 14145 US-281, Santo, TX 76472. We will need enough information to verify that the request is genuinely yours, which normally means confirming details we already hold. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your written permission.

We will respond within 45 days, and may extend that once by a further 45 days where the request is complex, telling you why. If we decline a request, we will explain the reason and how to appeal. You may appeal by replying to that decision or contacting us at the address above, and we will respond in writing within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may submit a complaint to the Office of the Texas Attorney General.

Cookies and browser signals

This site uses only the cookies needed to serve pages correctly and to understand site usage in aggregate. Third-party embeds may set their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may then behave oddly. We do not sell personal data or run targeted advertising, so there is nothing for an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control to switch off. If that ever changes, we will honor those signals and update this page first.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
